My Garden

This grevillea, an Australian native plant, is grown in my garden. There are many varieties and colours but always very distinctive in form.

My back deck is a great place for entertaining and enjoying garden views. The pergola is covered by Virginia Creeper.

The azaleas always look colourful near the side gate in spring.

As my house is on a sloping block, this is a view down into the back garden

My stained glass window

I have been several years working on the design and making of this window in my lounge room. I have a raked ceiling with beams sloping down. As it is summer there is a vine growing outside at the top left.

In the late afternoon there are lovely abstract patterns reflected on the carpet and the wall as the sun is round to the west.

As it is cold in Canberra winters I have left the original glass on the outside so the new window pane acts as double glazing.
